CoderDojo Silicon Valley is a Bay Area instance of CoderDojo, a global collaboration of free and fun programming workshops for kids, run by enthusiastic volunteers.
At CoderDojos around the world, young people ages 7-17, supported by volunteer technical mentors, work with their peers to write computer programs, develop websites, make apps, create games, and more!

How do we work?
For the 2019-20 season, we're doing monthly workshops at the Saratoga library, on the third Sunday of each month. We'll also be hosting an inaugural CoderDojoSV high school hackathon on February 1st and 2nd, 2020. Register for DojoHacks 2020 here! Announcements are sent to our mailing list 2 weeks before the event dates, and sign ups are open for about 5 days before seats are assigned.
Attendees need to bring a laptop to every workshop and loaner laptops are available for use at the Saratoga library. |
